A 75-year-old, 77-foot Norway Spruce was cut down in Florida, New York to serve as this year's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Soon, the tree will be lit up with more than 50,000 lights. In California, the Santa Claus of Monterey is counting down the days till Christmas at his workshop.
The 77-foot Norway spruce was cut down in Village of Florida, New York, early Thursday morning. It'll be raised in Rockefeller Center on Saturday, but it won't make its glowing, televised debut until December.
