Nearly 3,000 people flooded into Nevada after a call on Facebook to storm Area 51; about 200 made it to the main gate. CNN's Christi Paul and Victor Blackwell discuss with retired NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao.
The day after the official "storming" of Area 51, one event in the Nevada desert was canceled Saturday due to low attendance while revelers at a second festival continued to party-on with fellow alien "believers."
UFO hunters headed to rural Nevada on Saturday near the Area 51 US military base. The second day of the 'Storm Area 51' saw lower turnout than expected, with only an estimated 3,000 making the pilgrimage to the secretive US Air Force installation. Fears of a raid on the site were overdone, with many choosing to wear space suits, alien masks and tin foil hats. The Air Force has issued a warning to public not to trespass on the site, which has long been the subject of conspiracy theories.
