Nearly 72 per cent of Indians believe that the local economy has been disrupted by a severe weather event in the past year, according to a new study by IBM and its subsidiary The Weather Company released on Thursday.Additionally, 89 per cent of Indians expressed concern that climate change could have a negative impact on the economy. Further emphasising climate change apprehension, seven in 10 Indians (66 per cent) believe that severe weather events are much more common now than they used to be.The study, fielded by IBM in partnership with Morning Consult, sheds light on how climate change relates to severe weather. Microsoft will end its technical support for Windows 10 Mobile tomorrow, and now the company has announced that it will also end support for the Mobile Office apps in 2021.According to Engadget, the Windows 10 Mobile Office apps will not receive any bug fixes, security updates or general technical support from January 12, 2021.Microsoft is advising users to move to the latest Microsoft Office apps on an iOS or Android phone. While the apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, will still work, users will not be able to install them on any new devices.

Enough of the tall displays, Apple may actually be considering going back to smaller, easier-to-handle smartphones with its iPhone 12 in 2020.Based on the concept design renders created by PhoneArena, the iPhone 12 could come with a design reminiscent of the iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 from years ago, with sharper edges, Cnet reports.Apple may also reduce the screen display from 5.8-inch to 5.4-inch with 120Hz refresh rate. The iPhone 12 is speculated to include a four-camera setup at the back and come with 5G support.

Samsung is reportedly planning to use its own 108-megapixel sensor in its upcoming flagship Galaxy S11 smartphone to take on the Apple iPhone 11.A Bloomberg report notes that Samsung is expected to include three more sensors including ultrawide lens, and a 5x optical zoom lens on the Galaxy S11.The Galaxy S11 is also speculated to come powered by a 5,000mAh battery, a significant upgrade compared to the iPhone 11 Max that has nearly 4,000mAh battery.
